How the process works
Contact and vision
We start with a personal meeting, online or in the workshop, where you can share your thoughts and ideas. Do you want a timeless ring, a statement piece, or something completely unique? Here, we capture what you dream of. Feel free to collect images you like from the internet, and look at the pieces I've displayed in the shop here, for inspiration before our first meeting. Sketches and design
Based on our conversations, I will create sketches to find the exact right expression. Here, you have the opportunity to influence and ensure that the piece of jewelry becomes exactly as you want it. These will be shared with you digitally, where you will have the opportunity to bounce ideas around to find your unique expression.
Weighing and information
Your gold is weighed, and we together go through what is needed to create the new piece of jewelry. Here, you will be informed about the natural weight loss of approximately 10% that occurs during remelting and processing.
Size and details
For rings, we take measurements to ensure a perfect fit. For necklaces and bracelets, we determine length and other details. If you live far from the workshop, I can send ring sizers and instructions by mail to you, which you then send back with the included return slip.
Sketches and design
Based on our conversations, I will create sketches to find the exact right expression. Now you have the opportunity to influence and ensure that the piece of jewelry becomes exactly as you want it. These sketches will be shared with you digitally, where you will immediately have the opportunity to bounce ideas around to find that perfect expression.
Quote and kickoff
Once the design is finalized, you will receive a clear quote. After you approve it, I will begin the manufacturing process, where each step is carried out with care and craftsmanship.
Manufacturing and delivery
Using your gold as a starting point, I create the jewelry by hand in my workshop. The usual delivery time is about ten days after you accept the quote. However, we will agree on a delivery time that suits us both. The finished piece of jewelry is then delivered to you – a unique and meaningful piece to wear with pride.
